Little histories for Tiny people

Little Stories for Tiny People, a narrative resource for kids, features original stories the whole family will love. Filled with endearing characters and inventive story lines, LSFTP is sure to spark your child´s imagination and to delight the entire family or, in this case, for the class. In the Library section you can access the content sorted by topic.

You can work on the following skills:

  • Listening comprehension: Stories are told in clear, slow, well-articulated English, allowing children to identify basic words, structures and expressions.
  • Vocabulary: Each episode introduces new vocabulary in a natural way, facilitating comprehension and retention.
  • Grammar: Dialogues and narratives use basic grammatical structures such as: Present simple, past simple, simple questions and answers

It is ideal for working in small or large groups, individually or even in pairs.

An example of activity can be:

1. Listening: play a short episode and pause to explain new words.

2. Post-listening activities: summarising the story, drawing key scenes or role-playing.

3. Replay: listen to the same episode several times to fix vocabulary and structures.

4. Finally: discussing differences or similarities with local stories.
